Wishing All our wild Meerkat friends a Magical Christmas. I had a very special interview today with Solidearth Meerkat Rehab and Rescue Been struggling to upload to facebook and I had a whole Christmas design cover and ending for this however been struggling to get it downloaded and uploaded. SOLIDEARTH a Non profit organization rescuing wildlife and rehabilitating them so that they can go back to the wild eventually. They specialize in meerkat rehabilitation. As most of you know I got to spend time in the Eastern Cape getting to know Meerkat Queen Elizabeth The 3rd who is one of the most precious little souls I have had the absolute pleasure of meeting. I also got to find out about South Africa's large illegal Meerkat trade and what these animals go through when kept in captivity or isolated. They are highly social and extremely intelligent animals. Their safety and wellbeing depend on their numbers and fellow Meerkats. Please share this interview. It is a very special Christmas 2020 Edition conversation and one that hopefully reaches the hearts and minds of many. They really aught to be in the wild with their troop and if not in the wild must be in the care of loving conscious individuals who can cater for their individual needs.
